WELDON TRUST is a non-profit organization committed to empowering marginalized and vulnerable communities across Tamil Nadu through inclusive, participatory, and sustainable development initiatives. Registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 on February 4, 2009, the organization emerged from a grassroots movement led by committed development practitioners and community leaders driven by the values of dignity, equality, resilience, and community empowerment.
Rooted in a people-centred approach, WELDON TRUST works towards building resilient communities through women empowerment, financial inclusion, livelihood promotion, child development, youth advancement, health awareness, and community wellbeing. Our interventions focus on strengthening self-reliance, leadership, economic opportunities, and sustainable livelihoods among underserved populations.
Through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), entrepreneurship promotion, skill development, childcare support, and community-based initiatives, we create pathways for inclusive growth and long-term social transformation. Strong partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, CSR stakeholders, and community networks enable us to respond effectively to local needs and scale sustainable impact.
