WELDON Trust is committed to empowering women through community-based Self-Help Groups (SHGs), financial inclusion, entrepreneurship development, and sustainable livelihood initiatives. Our Women Empowerment Programme focuses on building confidence, leadership, economic independence, and social participation among marginalized and rural women. Through SHG Formation and Strengthening, women are mobilized into organized groups that encourage savings, collective decision-making, financial literacy, and mutual support. In partnership with NABFINS and ICICI Bank, WELDON Trust facilitates access to credit linkages, enterprise development opportunities, digital banking awareness, and Government welfare schemes.
The programme supports women in transforming SHGs into sustainable micro-enterprises by providing entrepreneurship training, business planning support, market linkages, and mentoring services. Women beneficiaries are engaged in various livelihood activities including tailoring, food processing, petty shops, livestock rearing, and agri-based enterprises.
WELDON Trust also promotes a Cluster Development Model to strengthen women-led enterprises through collective growth, community participation, and sustainable economic development. Our long-term vision is to build strong women enterprise ecosystems across districts through partnerships, producer collectives, and inclusive development approaches that create lasting social and economic transformation.
